This workshop breaks down the biology and neurology of stress, offering practical solutions that can reduce the effect of stress on the person, it teaches practical coping skills that help participants manage difficulties, aiming to boost resilience, mental health and wellbeing.

This workshop focuses both on teaching in the moment coping skills, helping participants calm their system and manage their stress; and also teaching preemptive skills that help reduce the cumulative effects of stress. Naturally, we all know the necessity of sleep, diet and exercise, but this seminar/workshop explains why these factors benefit us and how in their absence our performance and wellbeing is impacted.

At the end of the workshop, participants should feel that they have gained skills to understand and manage their own stress in a moment, and also have learned skills that help to prevent stress from building, improving sleep, productivity and emotional intelligence.

Being away from the physical office environment or social gatherings can be a struggle and naturally, it will be difficult to integrate back straight away. What is a good approach to deal with this?

Throughout the seminar we will cover the following areas:

  • How can you help yourself?
  • Morning routine
  • How to deal with internal and external obstacles?
  • Resilience to face adversity
  • Comfort zone
  • Confidence building

In this session we will look at the culture we are currently in, and why our wellbeing is so affected at the moment. We will help you learn what your body & mind do when you are under pressure, stressed, or anxious and show you how to deal with it and how to adequately resource ourselves. Taking a simple approach, we will learn how to spot stress coming & disarm it throughout the day so it doesn’t build up and overwhelm you. The sleep workshop helps participants understand why sleep is the foundation that we can build our Mental Fitness upon. The workshop explores why we sleep, what happens when we sleep; how even a slight deficit in sleep can affect on our emotions, physicality and cognitions, and offers practical tips to improve our quality and quantity of sleep.

The aim and purpose of this seminar is to outline a systematic process to set up concrete steps in how to create, follow and achieve small and long term goals. To define specifically what the outcome will be involving all the senses. It is to emphasize the importance of structure, discipline and momentum. To understand how they interlink and how it can help the person to continue on the path towards success, achievement and fulfilment.

The aim and purpose of this seminar is to outline how belief systems, internal dialogue and positive statements have an impact on one’s behaviour. What effect does negative thinking have and how to eradicate negative thoughts? It is to understand and explore how our beliefs are shaped by the belief engine within us. It is to examine our understanding for developing false beliefs that are sometimes held with great confidence and shield us from living our desired life. How can we work on our belief system to create a positive way of living?

The aim and purpose of this seminar is to outline how self-limiting beliefs can have a significant impact on the performance and effectiveness of an individual. What to do with empowering beliefs and how to address values and needs that have an influence in our life today.
Self- limiting beliefs are those that constrain us. By believing in our limiting beliefs, we impoverish our
lives. They are often about our self-identity. The beliefs may also be about other people and the world in general. It is important to understand and to be aware of our self-limiting beliefs, to work on them and to eradicate them from our lives.
With this, it is important to address how values and needs play an important part. Needs are not good or bad, it is what action you take to fulfil your needs that makes the difference between positive and
negative. What drains you and what gives you energy?

Personal Therapy explores any issues in your life that you wish to address. These can range from depression, anxiety, trauma, dissatisfaction, pain, or the search for meaning.

Each person has their own unique way of engaging in this process. Our integrative approach allows for individuality. Working in a supportive, warm, caring, and non-judgmental environment can equip you to engage with your struggle as you discover alternative approaches to moving forward

Poor sleep quality can impair our:

  • Appetite (making us a lot hungrier)
  • Concentration
  • Recovery
  • Metabolic health
  • Weight loss efforts
  • Immune function

As you can gather, it has an impact on everything so it will make other aspects of our lifestyle/ diet harder to change if we skimp on sleep. The aim is to get 7-9 hours sleep per night. If you’re not close to these targets, let’s increase the amount of sleep you get by 30 minutes, make this your norm and look to add to it again until you’re at the 7+ mark.
